2009 Orientation 2 is officially over! It ended with a blasting Dance Party!

We hope that you have enjoyed yourselves throughout this week as much as (or more than) we have enjoyed ourselves bringing this orientation to you!

Do cherish the friendships you have forged in this short but meaningful orientation. Continue to make more friends and we wish each of everyone of you all the best for your journey in NJC!

Tomorrow is the LAST day of orientation! (Friday, 6 February 2009)

Orientees:
Report at 7.35am at the parade square
Wear your black e(nj)oy shirt with grey bottom
Bring PE shorts
Bring a COMPLETE set of change (NJ PE attire, undergarments, shoes and socks)
Bring your thermometer.

OGLs:
Report at 7.00am at the amphi
Wear red OGL shirt with grey bottom
Bring PE shorts, thermometer and complete set of change (inclusive of white e(nj)oy shirt)

Have a blasting great time at Showdown tomorrow!
Also, look out for the dance party at night.

Orientation Day 3!

For Day 4! Thursday, 5 February 2009

Orientees:
Report at 8.00am at your respective venues (check below)
Wear your white e(nj)oy shirt with NJ PE shorts
Bring lots lots of water! (at least 1L)
Bring your thermometer as well!

OGLs:
Report at 7.45am at your respective venues (unless otherwise specified by zone masters. wait for sms)
Wear black e(nj)oy shirt with NJ PE shorts
Bring lots lots of water and thermometer
Plus whatever other things you need

5,6,7,8	Jurong East
9,10,11,12	Newton
13,14,15,16	Boon Lay

Details:
For OGs reporting to Bishan, please exit Bishan MRT, and walk towards the corridor where KFC, Mac Donalds, Cafe Cartel is located (It is on the left side of J8, at the side of Coffee Bean). Enter the corridor, and walk towards the end of the corridor. Exit the corridor and walk towards the field outside! :)

For OGs reporting to Jurong East, please exit the MRT Station and walk towards the field beside the MRT, on the side where Jurong Entertainment Center and the Jurong NLB is located.

For OGs reporting to Newton, please meet at the MRT Station, outside 7-11 :)

For OGs reporting to Boon Lay, please exit the MRT and walk towards the NEW Jurong Point. Before you enter Jurong Point, look at the little grass patch between Jurong Point and Boon Lay MRT, and you will find Sean there! :)

For OGs reporting to Clarke Quay, please leave the Clarke Quay MRT, walk through the CENTRAL, or walk pass Swissotel, and head towards Singapore River :) Walk along the promenade of Singapore River, and you will reach Riverside Point :) That is where we will gather!

For OGs reporting to Woodlands, please exit the MRT, and walk towards the WOODLANDS MRT TOILET!!! haha. THen walk abit further down, and you will find a little open space under the MRT tracks :) We shall gather there :)

Please note: After your OG has finished the first route, you need to move to your second route and gather at these places described above before you set off for your hunt in the second zone! :)

IMPT note: please bring a filled bottle that has a capacity of 1L

Hi people!

Hope you enjoyed watching the informal walk-in today! All the OGLs were proud to have brought to you such an awe-inspiring performance. You guys also had your chance to dance at the mass dance session today. But don't worry if you haven't figured out the dance, there are still more sessions to come. Anyway tomorrow will be a fun-filled day, as the station games will provide the perfect opportunity to know one another better.

Here are the details for tomorrow, Wednesday 4 February 2009:

in your black e(nj)oy t-shirt and grey bottom (or secondary school attire)
bring PE shorts (preferably NJ PE shorts)

Bring $25 for OGL Package (for "O2 only" OGLs)

Bring complete walk-in costume and props

Councillors doing attendance taking duty please report at 6.45am.

All OGLs are excused from class from 9.00am onwards. Report at the amphi at 9.00am.

One more day to Orientation 2!

Hello everyone!

First and foremost, congratulations to all JC1s who got into NJC! The 41st Student Council welcome you to the NJ Family!

Anyways, look forward to what is in store for you in orientation! We have a whole line up of events and activities to make your orientation "viva la vida" fun! By the way, "viva la vida" means "live the life".

Listen up to the important talks on the first day and then you can enjoy yourselves for the rest of the week!

Here's a preview of the highlight for the second day: Take a peek at the various theatres that you will join soon at the informal walk-in. Be dazzled by performances and watch your seniors dance! (if you recognise them)

Orientation 1 2009 is over! We hope that you have enjoyed yourselves as much as we have enjoyed ourselves organising and bringing this orientation to you!

Even though orientation is over, your journey in njc has only just begun. So cherish the friendship that you have forged in this one short week and continue to make friends as well! We are all one nj family afterall.

Hello again everyone!

Hope you had fun today with Internal Hunt! (: Aren't you excited about tomorrow's finale?! Be prepared to get SOAKED during the Showdown. Look out for the segment where you'll get to ambush your OGLs and drench them, especially your house captains and council president. To relish e(nj)oy Viva la Vida even more, a campfire has been specially planned for all of you! (: Be sure to savour every moment of the last day of your orientation tomorrow!

Before we reply any tags, thanks for supporting Orientation 1 2009 so far! There are still 2 more days to go. So do e(nj)oy yourselves as much as possible! =)

Tag replies:
1. The class allocation list is at the atrium. Ask your OGL to bring you there if you dont know where the atrium is.
2. You will not go wrong with the NJ PE shorts. However if you do not have one, your secondary/primary school PE shorts are fine as well for this orientation.

Station Games: Sticky and sweet

Hi guys!

We all had a blast today with the station games all around NJ! We got wet, sticky, sweaty, soapy and smelly, but sure had a lot of fun. In the end, OG 1 and 5 tied for 3rd place. OG 2 claimed 2nd place, while OG 9 clinched the very top spot! Well done to all the OGs! Keep up the enthusiasm!

We also finished learning the Mass Dance today, so it's time to look forward to the Mass Dance Competition. (:

Welcome, new members of this great big NJ family.
A very warm welcome to all of you out there, as you join us for the first 2009 orientation in NJC.

Truly, this is an unique experience, choreographed just for you.

Indeed, just as every play is perfected behind the scenes for each single show, Orientation 2009 in NJC has been made specially for you. Each plays might be different in their own way, but they are bound together by the hard work each puts into it. This orientation promises to be a fun-filled and enriching one! So viva la vida, live the life! Embrace the NJCian life!

Oh yes one last word of advice:
Be sure to give orientation 2009 your all; live out your life and find your true self during this orientation. Have fun!
